Henrik Stenberg lives in Laholm in southern Sweden. In his art he often works with ideals and aesthetics now and through history and highlights with a humorous entry how these vary between different times, places and contexts. Many times, his works represent a kind of scenes where various characters meet and interact and where stories arise. There is often a surreal moment in his work. Recently he’s been working in a different process with a kind of imaginary landscapes developed from randomness to clarity. He works mostly with painting and drawing and he also uses other techniques like sculpture and performance.
